My instructional design process starts with ADDIE as the foundation. Then, I add SAM and Agile practices to avoid a rigid, linear progression.
ADDIE provides structure and helps ensure alignment with business goals.
SAM and Agile practices support rapid iteration, prototyping, and faster feedback cycles.
I also use AI in my workflow to speed up research, revision, scripting, and data analysis. But AI is just a tool. I still make instructional decisions, validate accuracy, and ensure the solution aligns with learner needs and business objectives.
This approach allows me to stay grounded in a strong framework while remaining flexible and responsive to evolving business needs.
SME Collaboration
A collaborative SME partnership will accelerate development timelines and preserve instructional quality.
Intake Meeting Questionnaire
A structured intake tool that aligns stakeholders on business impact, performance gaps, and measurable outcomes before instructional design begins.
Bloom's Taxonomy
Bloom's Taxonomy assists the development of measurable learning objectives and align activities and assessments.
Instructional Design Concepts
This instructional design concept map visually connects learning theories, instructional strategies, instructional design frameworks, educational environment considerations, motivation models, and evaluation models into a single integrated framework. It demonstrates how theory translates into real-world instructional decisions across analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation.
